After logging 14 serious assaults in 2023 and 18 in 2024, Carnival has already reported 12 total crimes (including assaults, sexual assaults and thefts) in just the first quarter of 2025. As passengers grow more wary, Carnival is rolling out a multi-layered security response designed to restore confidence at sea.
